History
Holy Cross Lutheran School was established in the fall of 1962. Beginning in 1965, the congregation, under the blessing of God, added one elementary grade each year until the kindergarten through sixth grade program was realized in the fall of 1970. Subsequently, the Infant through Preschool 4s was added.

Philosophy
It is Jesus Christ who gives Lutheran education its unique character. At Holy Cross Lutheran School, we believe a Christian education will help each child develop his or her full potential as a well-rounded child of God.

At Holy Cross Lutheran School, children are guided in the recognition and development of their God-given abilities. Our students and teachers strive for excellence as they effectively use, up-to-date learning and teaching materials. By working together in our loving, Christ-centered school of faith, students are prepared to become responsible leaders of both church and community.
